COMPUTERISATION

 The Bank started computerization of its head office operations in 1990. Software for different sections was developed and implemented. Training to the officials have been provided in-house and in reputed Institutions. Terminals have been provided to different sections to enable the users to input the data at source. The Bank has already started the process of front office computerisation i.e. the customer services where the concept of single window is being introduced.

The Bank prepared the Information Technology Plan as per the guidelines circulated by the IT Department vide letter dated 13.11.2000. The IT Plan covers detailed features about the existing system of the bank, proposed system, technical requirements, implementation strategy and its impacts on the existing working of the Bank The Bank is going for Core Banking Solution for automation of Head office and its 13 branches with two extension counter located at Chandigarh & Panchkula through hartron which is acting as consultant

COMPUTERISATION IN DCCBs

            The Apex Bank is providing consultancy services to District Central cooperative Banks in the State. A detailed  study report has been prepared by the Apex Bank which provides necessary guidelines about the hardware, software, development, implementation schedule, training to staff, etc. NABARD has provided financial assistance to the District Central Cooperative Banks under Cooperative Development Fund for meeting the cost of computerisation.
